LIMP - Never released until now, INXS Michael Hutchence's last picture show is now available. Less than a month after finishing his role in this film, the Australian singer died on November 22, 1997. Hutchence's character is a London record producer named Clive who goes to see the main character perform in a band and inspires him to change his ways. Hutchence's rock star charisma came across in this film and shows his talent in acting. The film is about an artist who lives with other artists and musicians in a warehouse known as the Rat Trap until he finds his muse, a conservative girlfriend, trasforms into a yuppie and becomes impotent. With the help of his eclectic crew of friends, a fierce bald girl, and an old-school record producer, he finds his cure...

limp synopsis:
A hard core adventure comedy about a young charismatic musician who steers himself away from his tight "Rat Trap" funk artist friends, and redirects himself to a life that seemingly spells "perfect". He succeeds, sort of. He gets the perfect girl and the perfect job....minus one, rather large imperfect thing: he goes limp. As his impotence causes everything to unravel and deflate, his mind awakens to rediscover who and what he is, a musician.

With the help of his eclectic crew of friends, a fierce bald girl, and an old-school record producer, he finds his cure...

This was Michael's last performance as an actor, his character is a
old-school record producer named Clive.

The movie was filmed mostly in Vancouver in 1997. It runs 90 minutes.
