COMMENT FROM THE AUTHORS
Writing 'Just A Man' was rather cathartic after all the ridiculous, hurtful lies we had read in books and newspapers after Michael died. It was difficult to write at times, because in order to write about someone's life you have to relive those memories. I find that I get sad and frustrated when I look at photographs of Michael as a laughing, cheeky little child because I want to change the ending. We have people tell us that they cannot put our book down once they begin to read it and that is gratifying because at least people will get to know the Michael that we knew.

Telling the truth
Our text went through a barrage of attorneys in London and another team in Sydney before it was released. We have never even received a nasty letter let alone the threat of a lawsuit and we have never had to change a word because it is the truth and every word can be corroborated. |
